Why we started it
We’ve sat in the meetings where AI projects get approved, and later in the ones where they quietly get shelved.
The model usually worked fine. What stalled was everything around it. Nobody owned the result, the data wasn’t ready, and the people who had to use it found out last.
We’d spent years on the inside getting past exactly that with our own teams. At some point it made more sense to do this work together, for companies that want to get it right the first time.
Change was hard before AI
Between us, we and the teams we led have carried every one of these through large companies.
The technology was different every time. The reasons it stalled barely changed: nobody owned the outcome, old processes survived around the new tool, and results went unmeasured. AI moves faster and touches more jobs, so the same problems show up sooner and cost more. That’s why everything we do covers people and process as well as the technology.
